Ricky is a salon industry veteran with 20 years of hair styling experience. He has been the proud owner of Atelier Salon and Spa for 15 years. Within that time, Atelier has become the “Place to Go” for outstanding hair styling and services in the Basking Ridge area. Ricky is a curly hair specialist and created “Ri Ci,” a unique cutting system and line of products designed specifically for curly hair. At Atelier Salon you will discover “a team of elite artist who achieve perfection through superior knowledge and professionalism in a comfortable, friendly environment.”

“If you told me in high school I would be hair dresser, I would have laughed. Now I can’t imagine myself doing anything else” Joe’s passion for all aspects of hair design is unsurpassed. For every client that sits in his chair, he pours his full commitment, focus, and energy into giving them the best style and overall experience. Joe does not like to limit himself and is constantly growing by taking classes, learning from his team and finding inspiration in his surroundings. Joe’s raw talent and enthusiasm for his craft will undoubtedly leave you with a fresh look.

Fallon has been working at Atelier for eight years and loves it more and more every day. She feels that every day she truly gets to express her creativity through styling hair.  The greatest joy her career brings her is the knowledge that she helps to make the client feel beautiful. Although she has many talents, she loves to blow out curly hair and truly excels at it.

Nikki has been working at Atelier for eleven years now.  She has always been inspired by fashion and new trends and she loves to keep up with new techniques, styles and education.  She has traveled to Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica and Miami, but has always kept her own flare.  Nikki’s enthusiasm and energetic spirit for hair and makeup keeps her passion alive for her work every day. “It never feels like work when you truly love what you do.” Nikki tailors her knowledge and experience to every client’s needs to make sure they are 100% satisfied. She truly enjoys and loves what she does!

Melanie feels extremely grateful to come to work, meet amazing clients and make them look and feel beautiful, all while doing something that she loves. She had always thought that there was something so glamorous about being a Stylist and that has inspired her over the past five years to stay current with the latest fashion trends and techniques. Outside of the salon, she enjoys shopping, spending time with her family and watching Reality T.V.! (There’s nothing better than a “Real Housewives” blowout!)

Gloria has been in the beauty industry for over three years and could never imagine doing anything else! Being a Stylist not only allows her to express her creativity but also gives her the opportunity to bond with her clients as if they were a friend sitting in her chair, letting her play with their hair! Color is Gloria’s specialty but blowouts and styling are her favorite! At the end of the day, having made her clients feel beautiful is what fulfills and drives her.  “You know you love doing hair when going to work doesn’t feel like a job.”
